Affiliate & Partner Disclosure
In compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines under 16 CFR Part 255, this page discloses all material connections between HoustonMasterPlanned.com and its commercial partners.
1. What Is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link is a tracked URL that identifies HoustonMasterPlanned.com as the referring source when a visitor clicks through to a partner website. If the visitor completes a qualifying action (purchase, sign-up, or service activation), we may receive a referral fee from the partner at no additional cost to the visitor.
All affiliate and partner links on this site are clearly labeled in the card UI and carry the HTML attribute rel="noopener sponsored" as required by Google and FTC guidelines.
2. Affiliate Networks & Partners
HoustonMasterPlanned.com participates in affiliate programs managed through the following networks and direct partner programs:
3. Types of Compensation
A percentage of the purchase price paid when a visitor completes a purchase through a qualified partner.
A fixed fee paid when a visitor completes a defined action (sign-up, quote request, or activation). Examples: Broadband/Fiber activation, Electricity setup, or Home Security contract.
A small fee paid per click regardless of purchase. Not currently used on this site.
4. Editorial Independence
Our editorial content is never influenced by affiliate relationships. Community data (tax rates, school ratings, MUD districts, amenities, builder information) is sourced independently from public records, HCAD, TEA, and direct community research. We do not accept payment to feature, rank, or recommend any specific community over another. Partner offers are presented separately from editorial content and are clearly labeled.
We only recommend products and services we believe provide genuine value to Houston new construction buyers. The presence of a partner link does not constitute an endorsement of any specific product's suitability for your individual situation. Always conduct your own due diligence before making purchasing decisions.
